Wall ball is a drill that builds muscle memory to help passing and catching.

You can increase the difficulty and skill as a player gets better. Wall Ball is done at all levels, from youth to professional MLL players.

The basics of wall ball.

  • Pick a target on the wall. Don't throw to a random spot on the wall.
As you get better make the target smaller, and lower the target closer to stick level.
  • Work with your strong and then weak hand.
We suggest doing the drill twice as much with your weak hand.
  • Throw catch and repeat. Try not to cradle between the catch and throw.
